About Typecho's Sakana Widget Plugin and Snow Plugin

Recently, winter has arrived, and I made my blog snow, and a new companion appeared in the bottom right corner!!!

1. Project Background

This project aims to provide Typecho users with more diverse front-end display forms and interactive experiences. The Sakana-widget plugin enhances page activity and visual appeal through draggable character animations; the SnowControl plugin brings a seasonal immersive atmosphere to the blog through lightweight dynamic snowflake effects.

Both plugins are developed based on the Typecho plugin system, with simple installation and good compatibility, suitable for various themes.

2. Sakana-widget for Typecho

Main Features:

• Supports character dragging and physics swing animations
• Configurable character style, position, and sensitivity in the backend
• Supports mobile adaptation and hiding settings
• Automatically injects into the front end without additional theme file modifications

Installation Instructions:

1. Upload the plugin folder to the usr/plugins/ directory;
2. Log in to the Typecho backend and enable Sakana! Swing Component in the plugin management;
3. After enabling, the plugin takes effect automatically without manual template modifications.

Applicable Scenarios:
Suitable for blog websites that want to add fun and interactivity to pages, especially for minimalist style themes.

3. SnowControl Plugin

Main Features:

• Adds snow effects to blog pages
• Adjustable snowflake quantity and density
• One-click enable and disable in the backend
• No need to manually inject front-end code

Installation Instructions:

1. Place the plugin folder into usr/plugins/;
2. Enable the SnowControl plugin;
3. Refresh the page to see the effect.

Feature Description:

• Lightweight and performance-friendly, does not affect main page loading speed;
• Compatible with both light and dark themes;
• Future versions will support snowflake style customization and multi-season dynamic effects (such as spring falling flowers, autumn falling leaves, etc.).
  

5. Conclusion

The two plugins released this time aim to provide Typecho users with out-of-the-box visual enhancement tools to improve the blog's expressiveness and interactive experience. All code is open source, and users can freely download, modify, and use it. Finally, thanks to Feng for the help!!
