About Me

Hello, I'm Li, from Yueyang, Hunan, someone who grew up by the shores of Dongting Lake.

Currently studying in Changsha, majoring in Communication Engineering. Although my field leans toward engineering, compared to cold parameters and formulas, I'd rather remember the human part behind technology: curiosity, creation, and the process of slowly turning ideas into reality.

In my daily life, I enjoy photography, cycling, and hiking, and I also like to write down scattered words when it's quiet. Occasionally I tinker with websites, occasionally I research gear, but more often I'm just observing life.

A brief introduction

An ordinary university student who loves mountains and rivers, words and the evening breeze, and who still keeps a bit of unextinguished curiosity about the world.

I'm not very good at giving myself clear labels. If I had to sum it up, I'd probably be someone who walks back and forth between reason and romance: willing to study how things work, and also willing to believe in some things that can't be explained by formulas.

My Daily Life

I like to go out with a camera.

Sometimes I wander aimlessly in the city, sometimes I ride along the Xiang River, and sometimes I walk into the mountains with a not-so-light backpack. Rather than rushing to a destination, I prefer those insignificant moments along the way: the light falling on buildings in the evening, the wind blowing from the ridge, and the fleeting expressions of strangers.

For me, photography is not just about preserving images; it's more like a gentle reminder: we once looked at this world seriously.

About life

I can't always arrange life neatly, but I still hope to remain sincere, remain curious, and keep the courage to start again.

About kokowo

The name kokowo comes from a blue Jellycat bunny.

That rabbit was called "Kou Kou," and I once gave it to someone very important. Later, when I registered the domain, I naturally called this place Kou Kou WoKou Kou Wo.

As for what happened later—in the end, we didn't continue walking together.

But the name was still kept. It once belonged to a relationship, and now it's more like a little room I've left for myself: a place to hold words, photos, memories, and some thoughts that don't need answers in a hurry.

The meaning of the name staying

Some things are born because of a certain person, but later, in time, they come to have a life of their own.

About This Blog

This is not a rigorous knowledge base, nor a deliberately managed personal business card.

I'd rather see it as a slowly growing notebook, recording reading, photography, travel, study, and life, as well as emotions and thoughts that suddenly appear in a certain moment.

Here you may find:

  • Photos of mountains and rivers, cities, and journeys
  • Memorable little things from university life
  • Observations about people and relationships
  • Notes left while learning new things
  • Experiences accidentally gained while tinkering with websites
  • Thoughts from a late night that I don't want to forget
  • Words that may feel childish when reread years later

Being childish isn't scary. At least it proves that at the time, I thought seriously and lived honestly.

What I Value

  • Treating myself and others sincerely
  • Staying curious about unfamiliar things
  • Spending time on things I love
  • Reading more books worth rereading
  • Going to see farther mountains and seas
  • Learning to face loss more calmly
  • Becoming a gentle and firm person
  • Letting this place continue to grow quietly

I hope I can move forward slowly but continuously.

There's no need to rush to become some remarkable person; as long as, when I look back years later, I can still approve of the choices I made today.

In Closing

I've always felt that recording is something that requires patience.

It may not bring anything immediately, and it may not be seen by many people. But as time passes, at some unexpected moment, because of an old piece of writing or an old photo, we will always meet our former selves again.

"In the world of life, suddenly like a traveler far from home."

May I, in the midst of a hurried life, still leave a little space for observation, thought, and recording; and may you who come here, among these scattered words, happen to meet a familiar feeling.

If you'd like, you're welcome to contact me by email.

May we all, on our own paths, stay clear-headed and also keep our romance.
